WHAT DO WE DO?
Fenata acts as the ‘umbrella body’ for its members, which are the private sector tourism industry associations in Namibia. It also provides a focus for liaison with other major stakeholders in the Tourism Industry, especially the MEFT. In addition, Fenata assists with the development and promotion of Namibia as a quality tourism destination, and works with its members to promote their interests. This helps to provide a business environment that contributes to the economy and offers opportunities to tourism enterprises. FENATA also acts as a focal point for liaison and cooperation with similar organisations outside the country, especially in the SADC region
Promoting Namibia as a sought-after tourism destination

WHY BECOME A MEMBER?
Benefits
Being seen as a strong and balanced industry that is important to the economy, helps people trust us.
We can talk with people from different industries who have similar issues and challenges as us, to solve problems together.
The Tourism Industry has to speak with 'one voice' when talking to different government departments about common issues. Ensuring that everyone is clear on the message and to avoid any confusion.
When the most important associations in the industry are represented, it can create a positive impact on the economy.
Getting important information in a timely manner from stakeholders involved with any regulations and legislation, which may affect the industry .
Working together and combining resources can help address important issues more efficiently and quickly.
